From the "Peripheries", a poetry book byJana Bodnárová, was published in Slovakia by Drewo a Srd in 2013. The volumeconsists of three parts binded with oneiric imagery, linguistic restraint andlyrical fragility.

Jana Bodnárová (born in 1950 in Jakubovany, L.Mikuláš) is a Slovak writer, poet, playwright and art historian. As an author of prose, poetry, children’s books, theatre plays, radio dramas and two television scripts, since the mid-nineties she has also created and realized video performances (Lux Centre, London 1998, Cultural Centre in Łódź, 1998, the cinema of Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, 1998, ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Award, Berlin, 2000,International Women Film Festival in Novi Sad, 2002, Dohjidai Gallery, Kioto,2012). She lives in Koszyce.

Zofia Bałdyga (born in 1987 in Warsaw) is the author of poetry books “Passe-partout” (Warsaw, 2006), „Współgłoski” (Nowa Ruda, 2010) „Who Would Buy Such Small Countries” (Warsaw, 2017) and „Continental Climate” (Poznan, 2021). She graduated from Institute of Western and Southern Slavic Studies at the University of Warsaw. She is a translator of contemporary Czech and Slovakian poetry, and the author of Czech poetesses anthology “Neighbours”, published by Warstwy Publishing House in October 2020. She lives in Prague.
