"Tales for solo guitar" is an original project by Patryk Zakrocki, a composer and multi-instrumentalist known, among others, for his long-standing duo with Paweł Szamburski- SzaZa.
The guitar, as an autonomous instrument, leads the bass and melody lines by itself, sometimes imitating the snare drum and additional voices in counterpoint. The slow tempos, danceable pulse, lack of any effects, flowing, narrative nature of the music is the result of a long-standing friendship between the musician and the instrument.
