Babadag is Ola Bilińska's original formation, in which she experiments with threads and layers of traditional music, giving them forms and sounds often completely unrelated to tradition ... The effect is organic music. Songs where old fuses with new, and what sounds like old often is really new and vice versa.

In 2019, BABADAG returns with a new album and in a new composition - a bit surprising, and a bit stunning on its scale: three sisters from Vilnius, Kriščiūnaitė: Lauksmina, Raminta and Dominyka, which from an early age perform multi-voice traditional Lithuanian songs, and the Warsaw part of the band: Hubert Zemler, Sebastian Witkowski and Igor Nikiforow. Halfway between them - Ola Bilińska, who escaped from the hustle and bustle of Warsaw and settled in the Suwałki Region, a few kilometers from the Lithuanian border. The songs on the album Šulinys // Well are the result of longing for the presence of fairy tales and myth in the everyday reality that surrounds us. It grew out of the need to be part of tradition and part of nature and the subcutaneous feeling that nature is not what it seems - what contemporary man tries to bring it to and tame; it is an ancient manifestation of the Absolute, primeval, still functioning inparallel with the culture and civilization created by people.

BABADAG in his works - on the border between Poland and Lithuania, nature and culture - tries to explore this secret in his own way: music, word and energy flowing from joint creation.
