A women’s band playing trance-like melodies with a hint of melancholy and a feisty bow.
The musicians draw inspiration from the voices of their grandmothers and great-grandmothers, who shared stories of their lives and fates through songs. ‘We play melodies heard during our travels through Polish villages, from eastern Greater Poland and Sieradz Land to Kuyavia. For us, music is above all an encounter, connecting past worlds with a trance-like uplift in the present moment—through dance and song.’
